Pavlova is a popular dessert in Australia and New Zealand, and it is believed to have originated in those countries. Here's a classic Australian pavlova recipe for you:

Ingredients:

For the Meringue:4 large egg whites, at room temperature1 cup (200g) caster sugar (superfine sugar)1 teaspoon white vinegar1 teaspoon cornstarch (cornflour)1 teaspoon vanilla extractFor Topping:1 cup (240ml) whipping cream, chilledFresh fruits (such as strawberries, kiwi, passion fruit)Mint leaves for garnish (optional)Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Meringue:

In a clean, dry bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.Gradually add the caster sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat. Beat until stiff and glossy peaks form.Gently fold in the white vinegar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.

Form the Pavlova:

Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a circle or oval shape with slightly raised edges.

Bake:

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and immediately reduce the temperature to 250°F (120°C). Bake for about 1 to 1.5 hours or until the pavlova is crisp on the outside and marshmallow-like on the inside. The center should be soft but not sticky.

Cooling:

Turn off the oven and let the pavlova cool completely inside the oven. This helps prevent cracking.

Whip the Cream:

In a separate bowl, whip the chilled whipping cream until soft peaks form.

Assemble:

Carefully transfer the pavlova to a serving plate.Spread the whipped cream over the pavlova.

Top with Fruits:

Arrange your favorite fresh fruits on top of the whipped cream. Strawberries, kiwi, and passion fruit are classic choices.

betty au Travel tip for South Africa - Cape Town‎
Apr 14, 2021
Cape Town the capital of South Africa is a port city in southwest coast, on a peninsula beneath the imposing Table Mountain. Slowly rotating cable cars climb to the mountain’s flat top, from which there are sweeping views of the city, the busy harbor and boats heading for Robben Island, the notorious prison that once held Nelson Mandela, which is now a living museum. Place that you must visit ❤️😍
