Fakeaway chicken kebab
I used
9 chicken thighs
1tbsp curry powder
1tbsp garlic powder
1tbsp paprika
1tbsp ground cumin
1 pinch cinnamon
200ml fat free natural yogurt
Juice of 1 lemon
1 large onion (cut in half for top and bottom)
Mix all ingredients together with the chicken in a big bowl, cover with cling film and leave in fridge, marinate over night if possible.
To prep:
Place half of large onion on decent baking tray, stab 3 skewers into onion then stack chicken onto skewers so that the chicken is held in place, finish with the other half of the large onion on top to secure it all.
I cooked for 2hrs on gas mark 7.
Served with fresh pitta bread, iceberg lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, jalapenos, garlic mayo and chilli.
Better then the local chip shop 🤤😋
