Hi. From my experience keep both digital and physical copies of your passport, visas, driver’s license, birth certificate, health insurance card, serial numbers, and important phone numbers ready to go in case of an emergency :)

To contact the Emergency Services in Spain call 112. To report a crime to the Spanish police in English, call 902 102 112 (lines open 9am to 9pm). If you’re in Madrid, northern or central Spain and you urgently need help from the British Embassy (eg if you’ve been attacked, arrested or lost your passport), call +34 91 714 6300. If you’re in the UK and concerned about a British national in Spain, call 020 7008 1500. Hope that will help some people.

Visitors travelling to Canada by air are now expected to get an electronic travel authorisation (eTA) to enter Canada. If you’re visiting Canada you’ll need an eTA to board your flight unless you’re otherwise exempted (for example, if you have a valid Canadian visa or a permanent resident card). If you have British-Canadian dual nationality you won’t be able to apply for an eTA and you’ll need to present a valid Canadian passport to board your flight to Canada.
